When we moved on to the next game Devin and I actually worked as a team, and believe it or not but we won that one too. Since I was usually in their position, drinking in his family's frustration was oddly satisfying. As we reveled the others came together and banned us from the next game. Down but not out, I stayed on the table and watched them play. Even without Devin their skill and ferocity never waned. Lunch was served in the apartment, and instead of diving right into another activity, we all took a little free time. While everyone else decided to take a nap, Devin, Ellie, Fin, and I went out to the gazebo. As expected, it was just as breathtaking on the third visit. A gentle breeze wafted through the leaves, bringing with it the fragrance of the rest of the grounds. I leaned back against Fin's pot, took a deep breath, and closed my eyes. "This place still doesn't feel real, you know?" I said to no one in particular. "Like, even if I wasn't this size right now, it'd still feel

Sam wakes up covered in sweat, and he groans while keeping his eyes shut, convinced he’ll see hazy waves of heat if he looks around. Either the heater is broken, or this shitty motel really IS a hellhole—literally.
His eyes shoot open. Hellhole. Hell. DEAN. Sam sits up and looks at the bed beside him. It’s empty. His first reaction is relief: Dean isn’t having a Hell flashback thanks to the ungodly temperature of their room. Of course, his second reaction is worry. Where is he? Grimacing as his moist skin slides along cooling, sweat-laden sheets, he gets up and moves over to the bathroom.

Chapter Two
Felix kicked a can down the gray line of sidewalk in front of him.
"Gee thanks, Jax, ditch your best friend last minute for work. It's not like I wanted to go to that concert or anything." He mutters to no one in particular. The can spun into the street and out of reach, he watched it with annoyed blue eyes. The day had been warm and sunny, but it was cooling down quickly. It didn't bother him much, it was still plenty warm as far as he was concerned. Arriving at his front door Felix pulled the key out of his front pocket, but it just hovered in midair as he gazed at the house next door. He and Jax had been neighbors since they

deviantART was on TV + join the art challenge!
A long time ago (about 24 hours), in a galaxy far, far away (down the road in Hollywood), comedian and television host Chris Hardwick introduced a segment on his late-night Comedy Central show — aptly titled midnight (https://www.deviantart.com/midnight) (get it?) — that got many of us at deviantART all aflutter.
First of all, if you love the Internets and you haven't seen midnight (https://www.deviantart.com/midnight) yet, you're missing out on some serious lulz. A few nights a week, Hardwick invites some comedian pals on the show for some Geek-Centric Improv Comedy. Sort of like a British Quiz Show brought to you by Reddit. Or "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" with slightly less dancing, but an equal amount
It's back! With the goal of bringing a little cheer to patients in the hospital during the holiday season, the deviantART Holiday Card Project connects deviants from around the world and applies their tremendous artistic abilities in designing and creating uplifting holiday cards.

Cards were then divvied up and distributed in-person by deviantART members to local Los Angeles, CA hospitals, with additional cards given to various hospitals in the U.S. and abroad for hospital staff members to hand out
